GC Cost Estimator

We are seeking an experienced General Construction Cost Estimator to join our New York-based construction management team. This role offers the opportunity to be a key player in the growth of our Estimating Department and Construction Management practice area, with potential to advance into a Chief Estimator position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead cost estimating for general construction projects across all trades.

Assemble and roll up cost estimates for various project phases.

Train and mentor junior estimating staff.

Contribute to the strategic growth of the Estimating Team and Construction Management practice.

Qualifications:

6-14 years of experience in General Construction Cost Estimating, particularly for buildings and infrastructure.

Proficient in cost estimating from concept to detailed bid estimates.

Experience with cost estimating software, quantity take-offs, and applying historical cost data.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with excellent organizational abilities and leadership potential.

Associate’s Degree in Construction Technology/Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred.
